Team KCGA secured the fourth straight Mid-America Cup title over the weekend at the St. Louis Country Club.

Needing 4 points to retain the cup, Team KCGA defeated Team MAGA 5 to 3.

Day One saw the pairings of Julia Misemer and Megan Propeck earn a point for Team KCGA with a 3 and 1 victory, while Joe Bultman and Sam Parrott won 1 up to earn another point.

Taylor Black and India Gaume halved their match, which helped KCGA get out to a 2.5 to 1.5 lead after Saturday’s matches.

Team MAGA earned their sole match victory Saturday in a tight 1 up victory over Jackson Likes and Michael Winslow.

Sunday saw KCGA continue their success in the mixed alternate shot matches, including victories by Propeck and Winslow (5 and 3), as well as, Black and Bultman (2 and 1).

Misemer and Likes fell to Team MAGA 3 and 2 for MAGA’s only victory of the day.

Parrott and Gaume earned a halved point on Sunday and the team clinched their fourth straight title.
