Taylor Black took the first step toward defending her Girls Match Play Championship on a beautiful afternoon at Swope Memorial.
Black fired an even par 36 on the front nine to secure the number one seed going into the match play portion of the event.
The quarterfinal matches will be played Saturday, May 2nd, immediately followed by the semifinals.
The final will be Sunday, May 3rd.
