Championship is open to amateur and professional golfers
who have a permanent address in the following counties
and meet
one
of the
three
requirements.
Kansas: Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Miami Missouri: Platte, Clay, Jackson, and Cass.1.
Top 20 players on Midwest Section Player Rankings.2.
Top 20 players on Toyota Amateur Rankings.3.
Eight (8) Special Exemptions: two (2) are awarded to
the hosting club, specifically for the Head Golf Professional
or his designee, and the Club Champion. In the event
that the Club Champion is already eligible, that exemption
will revert to the KCGA in even years and the Midwest
Section PGA in odd number years. Remaining exemptions
are determined at the discretion of the TWC Executive
Committee.

number of flights based upon USGA Handicap Indexes and
the number of entries received.
Eligibility:
Open to female amateurs who have an active
USGA Handicap Index of 26.0 or less at a KCGA member
club.

Format:
54 holes stroke play with a cut after
36 holes in each flight. Number of players to
make the cut will vary based upon number of players
in each flight.
Eligibility:
Open to male amateurs who have an active
USGA Handicap Index at a KCGA member club. A USGA
Handicap Index of 3.4 or less is required to enter the
Open Flight. A Handicap Index of 7.4 or less and
at least 50 years of age by July 12, 2008 to enter the
Senior Open Flight. A Handicap Index at least 1.0 but
not more than 18.2 is required for the Players Flight.
A player must be at least 55 years of age by July 12,
2008 to enter the Legends Flight.

Format:
36 holes Four-ball stroke play qualifying.
The low 32 Open and 16 Senior teams qualify for single
elimination match play. If there is a tie for
the final match play seeds, the seeds shall be determined
by a sudden death playoff.
Eligibility:
Open to any male amateur (including non-KCGA
members) with an active USGA Handicap Index. An
Open team's combined USGA Handicap Indexes must be 10.0
or less. A Senior team's combined USGA Handicap
Indexes must be 14.0 or less. Both Senior players
must be at least 50 years old by August 4, 2008
