Field and FormatLimited to 102 players, 18 holes stroke play. Tour Membership & FeesThe Tour is open to all amateur golfers who are at least 21 years old, are not a current member of a college golf team, and have an active USGA Handicap Index of 18.2 or less at a KCGA member club. New membership (players who have not been a member of the Tour) is $75. Charter membership (returning players) is $60. Tour members also receive several benefits, including discounted fees to play at Tour venues. Each event has an entry fee of $70, $80 or $90, covering green fees, golf cart, and practice range access on the day of the event. Eligibility & FlightsI should play in the Open Flight if...

Withdraws & RefundsA player is required to notify the KCGA immediately if they need to withdraw from a competition via the withdraw webpage. If internet access is not available then withdraw via phone. Failure to notify the KCGA may result in disciplinary actions, which may include a suspension from future KCGA competitions. No refunds are granted, however if a player withdraws at least 48 hours before the first starting time-Entry fee may be applied to another Tour event otherwise there are no refunds even if all future events are full. Starting TimesStarting times will be posted on the KCGA website by the day following the deadline. Groups always start on the #1 tee. Players are expected to arrive at the first tee at least five (5) minutes prior to their starting times. A player arriving after their published starting time but within five minutes shall be penalized two strokes on the first hole. Arrival beyond five minutes of the starting time results in disqualification. No-Shows & No-CardsA player who does not participate in an event that they are registered for and does not properly withdraw from the event will be considered a no-show. A player who fails to return their scorecard following their round will be disqualified from the event and will be considered a no-card.
Walk-upsThe StateLine Amateur Tour will allow walk-up entries for regular season events. Walk-ups will only be filled for individuals who no-show for a scheduled tee time.
Walk-ups will be allowed under the following guidelines.
Mid-Season Change of DivisionA Tour member may change divisions at any time during the season, but only once.
Carts & CaddiesCarts are provided in the entry fee, although players are not required to use them. There is a maximum of two carts per group. NEW-Caddies will not be allowed. Personal Appearance & ConductProper golf attire is required on the course and in public rooms. Each facility's dress code will be enforced, but the following regulations are always in effect.
Any act of unsportsmanlike conduct, including obscene or abusive language, will result in a penalty and possible disqualification. The use of cell phones during the competition is prohibited. The Conditions of Competition are based on the Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA, and Local Rules as approved by the KCGA. Player RankingsPoints are earned at every event during the regular Tour season. Six flights (four gross, two net) have separate season-long rankings, based on points earned at each event. Click here to view the StateLine Amateur Player Rankings. Prize CertificatesPrize certificates are awarded to several places in each flight. The number of places is based on the total number of entries. Prize certificates may be redeemed at any Tour site golf shop until December 31, 2008. All certificates will be voided after December 31, 2008. Tour ChampionshipBased on points earned during the regular season, 72 players and ties will be invited to the 36-hole Tour Championship at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course on September 27-28. A player must participate in at least three (3) events in their respective division to be invited to the Championship. Invitations are extended to the top 18 players and ties from each division. The top nine (9) gross and top nine (9) net players will qualify in the Players and Legends Division. If a player is in the top nine in both flights the 10th player in the net flight shall be invited. StateLine Amateur Tour Player Ranking points are doubled for the Tour Championship.
