The KC Junior Tour is the Kansas City region's premier junior tour.
Since the early 1960's the KC Junior Tour has provided
an arena for competitive golf to girls and boys throughout the
Kansas City metropolitan area. Several notable
juniors have played in the program including Tom Watson and
Brianna Broderick. Recent KC Junior Tour golfers
include Chris Mabry, Jason Schulte, Kyle Smell, and Mary Kate
Bird.
The KC Junior Tour provides
three divisions of challenging play and gives area youth the
opportunity to play a variety of the best courses in the area.
The overall goal of this program is to provide all junior
golfers of the amateur golf community an opportunity to play in
competition regardless of skill level while focusing on teaching
them the Rules of Golf, etiquette, and character traits of
sportsmanship.
The Junior Tour over the
years has continued to grow and is currently stronger than
ever. In 2007, 357 golfers played at least one event.
However, the 16 events on the 2008 schedule are able to
accommodate almost 600 players of all skill levels.
The support of Midwest Section PGA
Professionals, KCGA volunteers, and KCGA member clubs have made
the KC Junior Tour the premier competitive junior
series in Kansas City.
All eligible juniors who want to participate
in the 2008 KC Junior Tour must complete and return a
membership application. The Tour membership fee is $35.
The fee for each event is $35. There
are no refunds for memberships.

junior golf in Kansas City. Mr. Devine was a member at Milburn
Golf & Country Club for several years and participated in
several KCGA Championships. Before his passing Mr. Devine gave

division Junior Amateur Player Rankings are nominated.
However this award also represents a junior demonstrating good
sportsmanship, leadership, responsibility and integrity. Winners
of this award receive a commemorative plaque and a $1000
