Purpose of Junior Amateur Player Rankings
The purpose of the Junior Amateur Player Rankings is to award junior
amateurs points for their participation in local and national events,
therefore, resulting in a ranking based solely on those points.
The points/ranking given to a junior amateur will allow them to become
eligible for the;

KC Junior Tour Championship
• Tournament exemption for AJGA Performance
Based Entry Status
•
Mid-American Junior Cup
•
Harry C. Devine Award
Scholarship
Guidelines For Receiving Points
A.)
A
junior amateur must be a member of the Kansas City Junior Tour.
B.)
A
junior amateur must participate in at least one Kansas City Junior
Tour event.
The point competitions are ranked and given a total point value.
Points are awarded using a standardized percentage allocation
for all competitions.
