73 players teed it up at Sunflower Hills Golf Course for the second to last KCJT event of the season on Tuesday, August 1. Beautiful weather greeted the players and conditions were ideal for scoring.

In the boys 16+ division, Jackson Likes won with a score of even par, 72. Eric Nicholson shot a four-over, 76, to claim second place. Garrett Clark finished third with a five-over, 77.

In the girls 16+ division, Lauren Wood fired a six-over, 78, to win the division. Sarah Lawson finished in second with a score of 82. Lauren Muller finished a shot back of Lawson at 83 to round out the girls 16+ division in third place.

Liam Coughlin won the boys 13-15 division, with a one-under, 71. There was a three-way tie for second place between Grant Beichley, Griffin Brassell, and Christian Mergia who all fired rounds of two-over, 74.

Maggie King fired the only round in the 70’s of the girls 13-15 division with a score of four-over, 76. She took home medalist honors. There was a two-way tie for second between Vera Bohning and Tess Roman who both shot rounds of 82.

In the boys prep division, Jack Michael Cobb defeated Myles King by one shot to take home the victory. Cobb fired a two-over 38, King shot a three-over 39, and Ryan Wall finished in third with a 43.
