Get a Handicap

The KCGA is an association of member clubs, which includes golf courses, associate clubs and internet clubs. In all cases, the clubs are united in purpose:  To provide their members with the opportunity to pursue the game of golf with integrity and in accordance with the USGA Handicap System.

If you have an active GHIN number at a KCGA/KGA affiliated club,  you are a member of the KCGA and the KGA!  We encourage you to establish your handicap at one of the KCGA or KGA member clubs whenever possible.  Inquire with the staff of:

  • a private club where you are a member
  • a public access course where you are a patron or annual passholder
  • a public access course where you participate in a league or play most of your golf

For golfers who do not belong to a club, we offer eClubs in the Kansas City Metro and throughout the state of Kansas – an online club of golfers which provides USGA Handicap service for all members.

**Note – If you plan to play on a KC Cup team or Kansas Cup team, the Conditions of Competition require that you keep your GHIN number active at the club for whose team you play.**

If an eClub is the right option for you, please select the appropriate club based on where you live:

  1. eClub Kansas City (Kansas City area residents in Leavenworth, Wyandotte, and Johnson County, Kansas and Platte, Clay, Jackson, and Northern Cass County, Missouri)
  2. eClub of Northeast Kansas
  3. eClub of Southeast Kansas
  4. eClub of North Central Kansas
  5. eClub of South Central Kansas
  6. eClub of Northwest Kansas
  7. eClub of Southwest Kansas

Benefits of eClub Membership:

Golfers who play different courses and do not have a home course can now belong to a club and still have the freedom to play around. Aside from experiencing a sense of community, there are other great reasons to join eClub. Those reasons are:
