The overall goal of the KCJT is to provide
all junior amateurs an opportunity to play competition regardless of
skill while focusing on teaching them “Respect FORE the Game.”
The Champions Division was in action today out at Falcon Ridge Golf
Club. Taking medalist honors in the 16-18 boy’s division was Derek
Swinford firing the low round of the day 75. Coming in second were
golfers Daniel Lipari, Ian Boat, Jacob Burkholder, Sean Dusselier,
and Logan Gilliland all shooting a round of 78. Andy Kelly,
Hunter Lewis, and Brandon Stoppelmoor took third firing a round of
79. In the girl’s division Allison Forristal took home medalist
honors firing a round of 77, beating out McCall Christopher, who
fired a 83, and Morgan Lamberson, who fired an 84. In the younger
14-15 age bracket, Jackson Foth shot a round of 76 to beat out
second place finisher Conner Schrock, who fired a 75 and third place
finishers Nicholas Pappas, Matthew McIntire, and Colby Yates who
fired a round of 78.
