The overall goal of the KC Junior Tour is to
provide all junior amateurs an opportunity to play competition
regardless of skill while focusing on teaching them “Respect FORE the
Game.”
The 2008 KC Junior Tour Champions
Division’s first event of the season was held today at the Paradise
Pointe Golf Complex on The Outlaw. There were 99 participants
registered for the opening event. First place winners include Francie Reintjes, 14-15 year old girls, Ryan Zech, 14-15 year old
boys, Allison Forristal, 16-18 year old girls, and Derek Swinford,
16-18 year old boys. Zech carded a 1 under par 71 to take low score
of the day honors at Paradise Pointe. The next KC Junior Tour
Champions Division event is June 16th at The Country Club of Blue
Springs. Currently there are 0 walk-up spots available.
