The Stateline Amateur Tour was at Shoal Creek Golf Course, Tuesday, August 29. James Saporito fired an even par round of 71, to claim medalist honors in the open division. His round included five birdies. Brent Mertz took second with a score of four-over, 75. There was a two-way tie for third place between Logan Truninger and Guglielmo Mandina who both shot five-over, 76.

Steve Groom’s round included three birdies and an eagle and he finished with a score of two-under, 69. He won the senior division by seven shots over John Scarsella, Don Kuehn, and Jim Gates who all tied for second place shooting rounds of 76.

Jettie Bezek won the legends division with a score of even par, 71. Mike Houtteman claimed second with a 72. There was a four-way tie for third in the legends between Jim Seward, Matt Miller, Bob Bezek, and Fran Ferns. They all fired scores of two-over, 73.

The players division was led by Dennis McCormack and Dale Nash who both fired rounds of even par, 71. Carter Likes and Kevin Rome both tied for third place shooting three-over, 74.
